A stunt performer famous for jumping a Harley Davidson nearly 200 feet will be in Whangarei tattooing and signing autographs.
American freestyle motocross rider and professional tattooist Seth Enslow will be joined by fellow Crusty Demons James 'Bubba' Chiasson and Luke Smith in Whangarei tomorrow, as part of a nationwide tour.
Enslow, a rider from California who is famous for his big jumps and even bigger crashes, will be tattooing at Bank St's MokoFusion from 10am.
All three freestyle motocross stars will then be signing autographs at Motorcycle Lab in Lower Dent St between 5pm and 6pm.
Enslow and Chiasson are considered the two original Crusty Demons - a group of daredevil freestyle motocross performers who travel around the world performing in shows.
The last show performed by the group was in 2010 but there are future plans for more shows, Smith said.
"Everyone still remembers the Crusty Demons, and those who used to watch the Crustys 10 years ago have kids of their own now."
The trio have been on a nationwide tour performing Spoken Word sessions, which includes clips from days on tour and discussion with the crowd.
They had a performance in Auckland and decided to head to Whangarei to do autographs and tattooing for fans.
"We thought 'why not' while we are touring the country. Bubba and Seth have never been further north than Auckland, because on the tour you usually only get to the major cities," Smith said.
