Four fishing rods and an outboard engine were stolen from a house in Kerikeri on Tuesday afternoon.

Northland police say the fishing rods were kept in a carport while the Suzuki two-stroke 15 horsepower engine was fixed to a boat at Titoki Pl when they were stolen.

Police have urged anyone who saw suspicious activity in the area around noon on Tuesday to ring Kerikeri police on 09 4079211.
