Local owner/trainer Dick Stevenson enjoyed a win in race three with his horse Smedley - a brown gelding by Colombia - ridden by Trudy Thornton.
A long-time supporter of the Dargaville Club, Ralph Manning, from Cambridge, also had the pleasure of being in the winner's circle with his horse Alphabet Street, ridden by Matthew Cameron.
