One of the country's largest musical events, The Classic Hits Winery Tour, returns to Northland next year with two shows in the region.
Next year's event will feature 17 shows between Northland and Dunedin from February 2 to March 3, hitting Matakana's Ascension Wine Estate on the first date of the tour and the Tutukaka Marina Reserve on February 3.
The Winery Tour will also reach its 100th show on February 8 at Black Barn Vineyards in Havelock North.
The line-up for the tour won't be announced until October, but promoters Civic Events promise it will be another collection of great Kiwi music.
"We are really proud of the achievement of reaching our 100th live show and the fact that it falls at Black Barn Vineyards, one of our founding venues, is a fitting coincidence," co-promoter Brent Eccles said.
"It's a credit to all of the artists and crew and our winery venue partners who have worked with us over the last seven years."
He said the tour has more than doubled in size since its inception in 2007. The Tutukaka show sold out of its 2000 tickets this year.
