Celebrating arts culture

Auckland's biggest celebration of arts and culture kicks off on March 2 and features more than 75 art events - involving over 500 artists in venues, galleries and public spaces across the city. The spectacular line-up includes dazzling productions from India, Vietnam, Bolivia and Taiwan, as well as top-notch theatre, dance, music and visual art works, workshops, public talks, free events and more from New Zealand and around the globe.
Make the most of the festival with a visit to the Festival Garden in Aotea Square, home to the Spiegeltent, the Water Puppets' Garden Theatre, the Stoneleigh Bar, the TV3 Stage and more. The Garden is the perfect place to soak up the festival atmosphere and enjoy free music, or an outdoor movie, before heading off to your festival show. - www.aucklandfestival.co.nz
