Wanted on Waiheke Island
Gulf News, Waiheke's independent community newspaper since 1973, is looking for a graduate to mid-grade journalist who can hit the ground running.
The right applicant will be a self-starter able to build relationships with island newsmakers and produce quick, tight & compelling news stories
Experience in community or provincial newspaper reporting preferred
Ability to juggle stories, meet deadlines and produce lively, accurate copy is essential
Waiheke's beaches, vineyards and lively community values are legendary and this is a chance to work with award-winning journalists and make your mark in the thriving independent community newspaper field
