An Air New Zealand flight from Christchurch to Brisbane was aborted this morning after a fault was discovered in the tail of the Boeing 767 aircraft.
All 80 passengers from the flight were moved to other planes and taken to Brisbane via Wellington and Auckland.
Meanwhile Air New Zealand is still repairing a plane which lost part of wing while flying over Auckland on Saturday afternoon.
