Cyclist seriously injured in crash near Whitianga

The Westpac Rescue helicopter is on the way to pick up a seriously injured cyclist after a crash involving a car near Whitianga.

The chopper was also called out earlier this morning after a logging tractor rolled 80m down a bank near Onewhero, south of Auckland.

A man was left with serious neck and back injuries.
