Sharp aftershock rocks Christchurch

A sharp aftershock has rocked Christchurch this afternoon.

GeoNet's early reports indicate it was a magnitude-3.6 located 15 km west of the city, and 9km deep.

It came at 4.39pm, and was felt widely across the city, but there have been no reports of damage.
