Police suspect arson in Northland office fire

Police investigating a fire in Northland at the weekend believe it was deliberately lit.

Fire services were called to the fire, at an office of Matauri Bay Development, just before 4am on Saturday.

The portable office, which was propped up on blocks, suffered extensive damage in the fire.

Police are treating the fire as arson and want to hear from witnesses.
