Kenya crash: Thousands expected at funeral for couple

More than 2,000 people are expected to attend a funeral in Tauranga this morning for the husband and wife who died in a road crash in Kenya.

Dr Brian Johnston and his wife Grace were on a Bethlehem College mission when the minivan they were in rolled earlier this month.

College principal Eoin Crosbie said the Johnstons will both be remembered today as a one-of-a-kind couple.

He says the family has a long a close association with the college.

The funeral for the third member of the group killed in the accident, 19-year-old Caitlin Dickson, was held on Thursday.
