Missing 11-year-old found safe and well

Missing 11-year-old Shayla Lay was found safe and well in Hastings late this morning.

Police received information from a member of the public who saw her walking along a suburban street.

She is now in the care of Child Youth and Family.

Earlier Hawkes Bay police said they had concerns for the safety of the 11-year-old, after she went missing from her Hastings home since Monday.
