Clara van Wel joins Winery Tour

New Zealand's Got Talent Winner Clara van Wel is set to tour New Zealand as a guest on the annual Winery Tour.

Van Wel is joining headliners Fat Freddy's Drop, Anika, Boh & Hollie and The Adults on the 17-date tour starting at Ascension Wine Estate in Matakana on February 2.

The 15-year-old Blenheim student beat out 5000 other acts to win NZGT in December.

She released Where Do You Find Love?, the song she performed in the competition grand final, as a single before Christmas.

Van Wel already has some Winery Tour experience.

She was invited to open her local show at Villa Maria Winery, Blenheim in early 2012 after a promoter was impressed by her YouTube clips.

Tour co-promoter Campbell Smith says it is exciting to have van Wel back for the full tour this year:

"We have known for more than a year how brilliant Clara is. Now the rest of the country knows and Winery Tour fans are going to get a chance to see her perform live. It is rare for us to add an extra artist to the bill, but Clara is such a special talent."
