Motorcycle passenger injured in crash

A motorcycle passenger has been flown to hospital after a crash with a car between Taupo and Napier this morning.

The 21-year-old woman suffered multiple injuries when the bike she was a passenger on crashed with a car on State Highway 5 near Te Haroto about 10am.

The woman was flown by the Lowe Corporation Rescue Helicopter to Hawkes Bay Hospital.
