Man crushed by log suffers multiple injuries

A seriously injured Northland man has been flown to Whangarei Hospital with multiple injuries following a work accident at Marsden Point wharf.

The man had been crushed by a log, and emergency services spent several hours stabilising him and clearing the scene for the Northland Emergency Trust helicopter to land, Newstalk ZB reported.
