Firefighters battle Narrow Neck house blaze

One person's been taken to hospital suffering from smoke inhalation after a house fire in Auckland.

The fire broke out in a bedroom of a home on Hemi Street in Narrow Neck, Devonport, just after 4.30am this morning.

Three fire trucks responded, and a fire safety investigator remains at the scene.
