Ferry strike called off

There will be no strike action this weekend on the Interislander service.

A settlement has been reached following mediation this afternoon between KiwiRail and two unions.

The Aviation and Marine Engineers Association and the Merchant Services Guild were threatening strike action next week if no resolution was made.
