Hockey: Inglis ruled out for Black Sticks

Black Sticks striker Hugo Inglis has been ruled out of the FIH Champions Trophy tournament in Melbourne due to a broken thumb.

Inglis suffered the injury in a practice game on Monday and has been replaced by 20-year-old Kane Russell for the tournament which starts on Saturday. Russell, who has two caps, was a stand-out player in the Under-21 men's side that competed at the recent Sultan of Johor Cup in Malaysia.
