21-year-old injured in quad bike accident

A 21-year-old man has back and abdominal injuries after crashing a quad bike, at high speed, on a Bay of Plenty Beach.

The man was treated on Pukehina Beach, before being flown to Tauranga hospital by the Trustpower TEC-T rescue helicopter in a serious condition.
