Otago man killed in tractor accident

A man died when the tractor he was driving rolled down a bank in Central Otago today.

Police said the 59-year-old man had been raking hay on a rural property near Roxburgh when it rolled several times down a bank.

Police were notified about 5.25pm.

The death was referred to the coroner and the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment.
