One killed, one injured in house blaze

One person was killed and another seriously injured in a house fire in West Auckland last night. Firefighters were called to the property in Madigan Place, Glendene, about 8.10pm. Neighbours said the building was well ablaze by the time the Fire Service arrived. It is believed a couple were renting the dwelling.
