Man admits supplying methadone after woman's fatal overdose

A Wanganui man has admitted three counts of supplying methadone which eventually led to a woman's fatal overdose.

Clive Beach, 57, supplied the class B drug which was later given to Sanchia Wilson.

Miss Wilson, 33, died from an overdose in Wellington Hospital on April 1 after falling unconscious at a Castlecliff address on March 28.

Beach plead guilty to three counts of supplying methadone when he appeared in the High Court at Whanganui this morning. He was remanded on bail to appear for sentencing on December 17.
