Woman killed in motorcycle crash

A woman motorcyclist is dead after crashing in South Taranaki today.

Emergency services were called to the scene just after 11am to Opua Road, near Opunake.

An ambulance spokesman said the woman was dead when they arrived.

It appeared she had lost control and crashed, he said.
