Athletics: NZ's Davies wins Toronto Marathon

Mary Davies has recorded the fourth fastest New Zealand women's marathon of all time by winning the Toronto Marathon this morning.

The 30-year-old former Whangarei runner, now based in Ottawa, won by nearly a minute ahead of Agnes Kiprop of Kenya.

Her time of 2:28:57 is three and a half minutes behind the national record held by Kimberley Smith.
