#Twithappens: Even self-proclaimed Warlocks have their off days.
Just ask Charlie Sheen, who has had to change his mobile number after accidentally tweeting the digits to more than 5.5 million followers while trying to dial-up Justin Bieber.
"310-954-7277 Call me bro. C," the former Two and a Half Men star tweeted while attempting to send a private direct message to the Canadian crooner last Thursday.
But the MaSheen, who was dining at the swanky Guy Savoy restaurant in Las Vegas at the time, ended up tweeting the number to his millions of followers instead.
Page Six reports that Sheen promptly deleted the tweet, but the damage had already been done. Fans swiftly retweeted his message, and within seconds, his mobile was buzzing.
"Charlie's phone immediately went into meltdown," says a spy. "It was ringing wildly, and he got 1800 text messages in minutes."
Sheen saw the light side of his gaffe, and humoured callers by answering with "Ray's Pizza" and his trademark catchphrase "Winning!" according to the Page Six.
"But his phone just continued ringing and buzzing and eventually just completely melted down," adds the spy. "Charlie was, like, 'I guess I need a new phone.'"
Dishes another spy: "Charlie was the most polite in the group. At one point he started getting out a cigarette.
"One of his friends told him, 'You are Charlie Sheen; you can do whatever you want,' but the restaurant manager told him that was not the case, and Charlie put his cigarette away."
According to Sheen's rep: "I haven't been able to get through to him on the phone since Wednesday. He just got a new number."
No word on why he wanted to dial up Bieber. Twitter lessons, per chance? Biebs, if you get an invite to Sober Valley Lodge, politely decline. Tell him you're washing your goldfish.
Meanwhile, just over a week after she was arrested in Aspen on suspicion of third-degree assault and cocaine possession, Sheen's ex Brooke Mueller is giving rehab another try.
"Recognising past attempts at treatment have not been successful, Brooke has decided to take a different approach to deal with her addiction," her publicist Steve Honig said in a statement.
"Brooke will be participating in a program during the day, and will be under expert supervision 24 hours a day, seven days a week. In addition, Brooke has requested to be tested on a daily basis for cocaine and other illegal substances so there is no doubt as to her commitment."
Mueller was arrested on December 3 after a woman claimed she was assaulted by the reality star in a nightclub.
She will retain custody of the twin boys she shares with Sheen, adds the rep.
"Brooke will retain custody of her children, both of whom will continue to remain at her home and be cared for by Brooke and their longtime nanny," Honig added.
"Charlie and Brooke's family are all fully supportive of this decision and recognise the importance of maintaining the children's normal routine."
Mueller is due back in court on December 19.
