Five mid-year All Blacks have gone, Sonny Bill Williams has been anointed and others recycled for the team's tour to Hong Kong and Europe.

Hosea Gear, Daniel Braid, Hika Elliot, Andy Ellis, Stephen Donald, Andrew Hore, Isaia Toeava and Sitiveni Sivivatu have been chosen after missing selection earlier this year.

Late injuries to Israel Dagg and Piri Weepu changed some of the dynamics in the 30-strong group.

Henry said he was picked on form, can you argue with that?

I almost vomited my lovely breakfast up this morning when I read of S B Williams
inclusion to the All Blacks,I am the only one to see through this charade, henceforth I have decided to place this ad:

For sale, cheap All Black jumper open to anyone, as jumpers are now devalued to
special price, conditions as follows. No previous experience in New Zealand rugby
required. Available for one year contracts, with no further commitment to New
Zealand rugby. We will forget previous digressions and even if you had
threatened us with playing for Australia we will forgive you, so be in quick as
the World Cup is only one year away.

Well he's played quite well without being scintillating at ITM Cup level, which sugggests his place in the All Black tour squad was part of the package deal when he signed up with the nzrfu. Everything he does in games is amped up by the media to greatness, akin to the Beckham mania which plagued England in the early 2000s. The nzrfu should have shown some cojones and put Frewen in ahead of Williams.
