Police are searching for an assailant following an attack on a teenage girl in Invercargill last week.
Police said between about 9pm and 9.30pm on Friday September 19, a 14-year-old girl was indecently assaulted by a male on Charlotte St, near the intersection with Margaret St in Invercargill.
The girl was also pushed to the ground but did not sustain any injuries, police said.
Police have described the male as approximately 180 cm in height and wearing a dark coloured puffer jacket. He was with two women who were described as being of solid build and smoking cigarettes at the time of the assault.
Police said the man was last seen walking west on Charlotte St.
Police would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident, or anyone who has information about the man and two women.
