Seven sailors are feared drowned after a German fishing trawler sank in high, icy seas off Britain's Western Isles.
Aircraft from Britain, Ireland and Canada answered the vessel's mayday and were able to airlift nine other crew, all suffering from hypothermia, to safety from their liferaft. Four ships are searching the area for survivors.
