Three of the eight men charged in connection with last year's $940,404 Chubb robbery in Wellington have been sent to jail.
John Moeke, Jonathan McDonald and Quintin O'Brien had all previously pleaded guilty to aggravated robbery and unlawfully taking a Chubb security van.
At the Wellington District Court yesterday, former security guard Moeke, 24, was sentenced to eight years in prison.
McDonald, aged 27, of Upper Hutt, and O'Brien, 23, of Stokes Valley, both unemployed, were each given sentences of seven and a half years.
