At 10-weeks-old, Issy was diagnosed with a liver disease called Biliary Atresia. Issy’s mother Jodie volunteered to undergo a liver check to assess whether she could donate some of her organ to Issy. Jodie was a match and five days after her first birthday Issy got her new liver.
