High profile Matamata trainer Mark Walker is facing three Serious Racing Offences charges.
The charges relate to the authenticity of a document relating to Warm Regards' eligibility to run in a jumpers' flat race at Te Aroha on May 3. The hearing will be held on August 7.
Walker headed the New Zealand trainers' premiership for most of the season until he was overtaken in recent weeks by the late charge from the powerful Hawtin/Rogerson partnership. Rogerson and Hawtin are currently on 59 wins for the season ahead of Walker's 53.
