Veteran large-lunged Welsh pop star Tom Jones is heading back to New Zealand.
The 75 year-old, who has been having hits since 1965, is playing at Vector Arena on March 19 - the same day at next year's Auckland City Limits festival at Western Springs.
Jones, who was knighted in 2006, heads to Auckland before playing the Byron Bay Bluesfest.
He's touring off the back of three recording career-reviving albums, the gospel-flavourted Praise and Blame (2010), the folk/blues-flavoured Spirit in the Room and last month's country and rock'n'roll set Long Lost Suitcase.
His March performance is sure to include his trademark hits It's Not Unusual, Delilah and Green, Green Grass of Home.
Jones also published at his autobiography Over the Top and Back last month.
Tickets go on sale Tuesday November 17 via at 10am Tuesday with a Live Nation and Ticketmaster pre-sale from 9am the previous day.
Jones last appeared in New Zealand in 2010 at Villa Maria where fans performed the tradition ritual of throwing knickers on stage in appreciation.
