Pop punk band Good Charlotte, fronted by brothers Joel and Benji Madden, are making a comeback.
The act first found fame in the 1990s and became well known for their alternative appearance and punk rock sound.
Announcing their return, the band posted an image with the hashtag #WelcomeBackGC, and it wasn't long before the post was trending worldwide.
Good Charlotte's hiatus began in 2011 after five popular albums.
The Madden brothers released a studio album last year called Greetings from California.
During their break from Good Charlotte the twins co-wrote works for the likes of 5 Seconds Of Summer, Three 6 Mafia and All Time Low.
They also judged side by side on The Voice Australia.
Release dates and song names have not yet been revealed but the boys are said to be working on new music.
A teaser clip distributed by Alternative Press has created a tidal wave of excitement online.
Loyal fans are ecstatic but hope they will be sticking to their original influences.
