His fans were busy staking out skate parks and hotels but Justin Bieber has been hard at work in Auckland today, doing the rounds of media interviews.
Bieber was photographed leaving an Auckland radio station, where he pulled a peace sign to waiting fans down below.
TV3 hosts Jono and Ben also sat down with the pop star, posting this picture to social media.
Bieber arrived in Auckland last night in a private jet, but has largely managed to evade fans.
The What Do You Mean hitmaker was spotted enjoying a meal with his entourage at Sean Connelly's The Grill restaurant on Federal Street last night.
However, Bieber appears to be keeping a low profile this morning, with Kiwi fans taking to Twitter to express a sentiment found in one of his recent hits: "Where are you now that I need you?"
"Does anyone have an actual idea where Justin could be?" one fan tweeted.
The singer will perform at an invite-only acoustic showcase for a small number of fans and media tonight, then host a barbeque - a "Bieber-Q" - tomorrow.
Beliebers have been warned by the man himself to be careful with their approach when asking for a picture.
"I want to enjoy the moment just as you're enjoying the moment but I can't enjoy it if I feel like there isn't any respect given to me at that moment," Bieber said via image-sharing app Snapchat.
"If I'm walking somewhere or arriving somewhere and you guys are asking to take a photo, if I don't respond, if I continue just walking, the likelihood is probably that I don't want to take a photo at that moment.
"Now, if you start screaming louder, that's not going to make me want to take a photo more."
During his recent visit to Australia, Bieber visited a number of skate parks and posted a video of his activities on social media.
When he last visited our shores in 2013, he visited Victoria Park skate park for a quick spin on the halfpipe. He also allegedly tagged the equipment at the park with his unfortunate nickname of the time - "Bizzle".
His performance at Vector Arena received mixed reviews, with some fans walking out in disgust amid accusations of lip-syncing.
