Black Sabbath have confirmed they'll be touring one last time - and they're including two NZ tour dates on a world tour.
The veteran rockers announced overnight that they'll embark on The End world tour at the beginning of 2016 in America.
The tour includes two NZ shows: Auckland's Vector Arena on April 28, and Dunedin's Forsyth Barr Stadium on April 30.
The group, including original members Ozzy Osbourne, Tony Iommi and Geezer Butler, promised "to surpass all previous tours with their most mesmerizing production ever".
"When this tour concludes, it will truly be the end - the end of one of most legendary bands in Rock 'n Roll history," a statement posted on the group's website said.
Original drummer Bill Ward, who had a falling out with Osbourne, is not part of the tour.
The Grammy-winning group released its self-titled debut album in 1970. They are pioneers of heavy metal music.
On sale dates and details are expected to be released next week.
Black Sabbath last played in New Zealand in 2013 just before the release of album 13.
