A cat living in Grafton cemetery that became an internet sensation has been caught.
The black and white cat became the object of much interest after American rocker Ryan Adams tweeted a photo of the cat pleading with Auckland fans and animal shelters to help find the young kitty a "forever home".

The Twitter hashtag #cemeterycat has been trending after Adams almost 700,000 followers became engrossed in the saga.
The cat was caught this morning by Aucklander Rob Isaac, and a group of cat lovers called Lonely Miow Assn.
A Lonely Miaow member has taken cemetery cat to a vet to be checked for a microchip, and to make sure she's healthy.
The cat is reportedly smooching with the clinic's staff.
The registered charity is calling for name suggestions for cemetery cat - Adams has suggested Kim.
