One Direction's Harry Styles was floored on stage during a gig in Scotland this week - after he was hit in the groin by a fan-flung shoe.
The singer, 19, and his bandmates Niall Horan, Liam Payne, Zayn Malik and Louis Tomlinson, had been answering fans' Twitter questions after performing Last First Kiss at Glasgow's SECC Arena on Tuesday the Daily Record reports, when, mid-banter, a fan threw a pair of shoes in their direction.
The first landed by Styles' feet, which he grabbed and held up for the audience, saying: "It's a shoe."
Seconds later, another shoe was lobbed at the boy-bander, hitting him in the nether regions, prompting him to double over and hit the stage.
Payne told the crowd, "Well, he has just been assaulted."
And no, don't go blaming his ex Taylor Swift for this one.
The Scottish Daily Record reports that Jade Anderson, a local East Kilbride teenager, has owned up to tossing her shoes on stage.
"I just wanted him to touch something belonging to me. I didn't mean to hit him where I hit him. I'm really embarrassed," she told a local radio show, according to the website.
She wrote on Twitter: "Harry Styles I'm the one that threw my shoe at you, I never meant to hurt you. Feel sooo ill now."
She explained that security had intervened.
"And the police were telling me that i 'commited a criminal assult' and i couldve killed him hahaha," (sic) she wrote, the Mail Online reports.
"I just wanted to touch him. I didn't mean to hit him and I've tweeted him to say sorry."
