Music fans who have not secured tickets to The Mission in Taradale this month may be able to snaffle a bargain on Trade Me.
A quick browse of the website turned up 57 ticket listings for the concert, many of which featured multiple passes and were selling below the original cost.
Most gave "unable to attend" as the reason for on-selling.
The event, featuring Barry Gibb and Carole King, has yet to sell out with tickets still available through Ticketek, starting from $126, including booking fee.
However, savvy shoppers could pick up a General Admission ticket on Trade Me for as little as $80, or try their luck and bid on a double pass with $1 reserve.
One seller from New Plymouth had three listings offering 20 tickets at $80 Buy Now, and four packages comprised two general admission tickets, two nights twin or double accommodation, two full buffet breakfasts and return transfers to the concert for $640 per couple.
Other traders simply wanted to make their money back: "Selling as my friend can no longer go, don't want to muck around being greedy trying to get as much as can, hence the shorter auction," they wrote.
Platinum reserve seating, directly in front of the stage, was more sought after, with the cheapest starting at $350 for one person or $600 for two.
