Beyonce thinks her Destiny's Child band mates put on a "fierce" performance at the Super Bowl XLVII on Sunday.

The girl band reunited for the first time since 2006 at the event in New Orleans, which attracted an average of 104 million viewers, and the 31-year-old believes their collaboration was among the highlights of her half-time show.

Beyonce told Inside Edition: "They were fierce honey. It was Gone with the Wind fabulous."

Kelly Rowland said their high profile reunion felt "wonderful."

"It was a great performance," she said.

Michelle Williams also enjoyed it, saying: "It was fun."

Beyonce previously admitted that she was "so proud" of her 14-minute performance and was pleased with the reaction to the show and the Destiny's Child reunion.

"I'm feeling so proud, it was a really beautiful day.

"All the hard work, five months of preparation, and it was really great.

"It really was a magnificent night for me and the girls."

The band also changed their set list for the event at the last minute, replacing 1999 hit Bills, Bills, Bills in favour of 2001 track Bootylicious because it better suited the high energy of the rest of their set.
