Homebrew, Tiki Taane, and TrinityRoots are among the Kiwi bands signing on to play the annual Sounds On festival in Auckland.

The sustainable festival will be held at The Oval in North Harbour Stadium on March 23 next year.

Home Brew, The Black Seeds, Katchafire, David Dallas, TrinityRoots, Tahuna Breaks, AHoriBuzz and Tiki Taane are all signed on to play.

The festival has a strong environmental bent.

Buses and train tickets to the venue are included in its ticket prices.

Organisers are also teaming with Sustainable Coastlines to promote its aim of cleaning up the Waitemata Harbour and Hauraki Gulf area.

Earlybird tickets go on sale for $45 from November 26 through GrabOne.
