Fledgling music magazine Volume is closing its doors after seven months.

Tomorrow's edition, its 33rd issue and featuring local rap group Home Brew on the cover, has been confirmed as the APN magazine's last.

Editor Sam Wicks announced the news on Facebook this morning.

Volume, a free magazine available in bars and cafes around the country, kicked off in September, 2011 with the The Drab Doo-Riffs on the cover.
