Good guy or bad guy?
Finally, we get a bit more background on our story's heroin. As it turns out Jyn's father, Galen Erso, could be the cause of all of the galaxies' woes.
"Jyn, whatever I do, I do it to protect you," Jyn's pops - played by Mads Mikkelsen - says to a young Jyn before he has a standoff with members of the Empire.
Later we find out "he's critical to the development of a super weapon". Oh snap! Rogue One is following the theme of other Star Wars movies by keeping it in the family.
That rock looks familiar ...
Is that a Jedi monument carved into the rocks? Yes, yes it is. If it has no other purpose than to look totally awesome, then we're fine with that.

Going behind enemy lines
Star Wars fans get a cool glimpse of Jyn, Captain Cassian Andor and K-2SO disguised as members of the Empire, no doubt infiltrating their base to snatch the Death Star plans. Hopefully they can pull it off.
Using the force to see?
A closer look at potential Jedi/Samurai Chirrut Imwe reveals he could be blind. Is he using his force-sensitivity to take down his foe? If so that makes him even more bad ass than we already thought he was.
Vader rising
At last we get a clear look at Darth Vader. Previous trailers have only given us glimpses, but in the latest clip we get to see Vader walk ominously out of the smoke towards his right-hand-man.
Also, if the movie is sweet as this poster ...
We're in for a treat!
