APRA has named its nominees in its soundtrack, Maori songwriting and contemporary classical categories for the 2015 Silver Scroll awards.
Stan Walker figures among the APRA Maioha Award hopefuls, while The Dark Horse is up for yet another local prize with a nomination for its score by composer Dana Lund.
Among the SOUNZ Contemporary Award nominations one nominee Chris Watson is up against his Victoria University PhD supervisor Ross Harris for their respective compositions.
The awards will be announced in Auckland on September 17 alongside the Silver Scroll for song of the year.
