Plans are well advanced for the New Year nuptials of Newstalk ZB and Radio Sport host Tony Veitch and bride-to-be Lisa Bryan.
Spy understands the lovebirds will wed in January, and Veitch is set to take a break from his radio commitments for an early summer honeymoon.
Bryan - a property project manager and qualified valuer - has entrusted her husband-to-be with the post-ceremony entertainment plans. We're told that will include a cocktail party.

But only the pair's nearest and dearest are invited. Veitch and Bryan are determined to keep the ceremony as intimate as possible; there's no way the pending nuptials will be transformed into the exorbitant celebrity wedding of the summer and don't expect a women's mag deal.
A happy Veitch told Spy: "Our plan is simple ... keep it small, keep it fun and make sure it's a bloody good party. We can't wait."
Veitch, whose first marriage, to Zoe Halford, ended five years ago, got engaged to Bryan in April, popping the question while they were holidaying in Sydney. They have been together for about four years.
In an earlier interview with the Herald on Sunday about recovering his health and happiness, Veitch spoke about his desire to be a dad.
"I'd given up on being a father. God, I'd given up on everything, so yeah, this year has been a bit of a change of heart. I'd love to be a dad."
In 2009 Veitch was convicted of assaulting his former partner Kristin Dunne-Powell. He has gradually returned to high-profile broadcast roles.
