Halle Berry's role in the forthcoming X-Men film has been cut down to just one scene, according to reports.
A source from the set of X-Men: Days of Future Past told the New York Daily News that the Oscar-winning actress "only has one line in the whole movie".
"They're not telling her until the movie comes out," the source added.
Berry, who plays Storm in the superhero franchise, was pregnant during filming with her second child and expected to play a less action-intensive part.
The actress previously told the BBC: "Storm probably won't be as badass as she was going to be because we won't be able to do any fighting or flying or things like that," but added that she would play an "integral part" in the new film.
Berry starred in the original trilogy of X-Men films as the weather-controlling superhero and her character has fought numerous foes, including Magneto and his Brotherhood of Mutants.
She is not the only one who seems to have fallen foul of the cutting room floor, True Blood star Anna Paquin was completely taken out of X-Men: Days of Future Past.
The film is the seventh in the franchise and sees the characters from the original X-Men films joining forces with the younger versions of themselves to battle against time and save the future.
The film has been directed Bryan Singer and features a stellar cast including Jennifer Lawrence, James McAvoy and Michael Fassbender. It will also star veteran X-Men cast members Patrick Stewart, Sir Ian McKellan and Hugh Jackman.
X-Men: Days of Future Past will be released in May this year.
