They've become the forgotten piece in the Supercars championship battle but Prodrive Racing Australia is hoping to make a statement at Queensland Raceway this weekend.
The Ford outfit will be up against it when trying to match rivals DJR Team Penske and Red Bull Holden Racing Team - both of who test at the Ipswich track - but they are banking on some past success to help them get across the line and back into the title fight.
Youngster Chaz Mostert finds himself fifth in the standings but will head to Queensland Raceway with fond memories from his break-through win in the category back in 2013.
"I really like going to Ipswich. It's a home hunting ground for me and I've had a bit of success there with a win in my first year in the main series," Mostert said.
"I'm looking forward to getting back there.
"It's a bit of an easy layout track but it really creates great racing. In three corners of the track you can generally run side-by-side with another car.
"I'm looking forward to the battle out there and fingers crossed we can go out and have another consistent run at it and be around the top five."
Teammate Mark Winterbottom also boasts a strong history at the 3.12km long track.
"I am looking forward to Queensland," Winterbottom said. "It has been good to us in the past and it is nice to go into a round off the back of two solid results. It builds confidence.
"We've had quite a few wins at Ipswich in recent times and if we can continue our previous form and the speed we showed in Townsville there is no reason we can't claim more podiums which is the goal."
