One of the NRL's biggest names has copped a doping ban.
Sharks and New South Wales captain Paul Gallen has agreed to accept ASADA's backdated 12 month suspension over Cronulla's 2011 supplements scandal.
He joins nine other players still active in the NRL, including Kiwis international Jeremy Smith, to take the same deal.
They'll miss the last three games of the season, and in Gallen and Smith's case, the Four Nations.
NRL boss Dave Smith has told Australia's Channel Nine he hopes the saga is coming to an end.
He says the right things have happened in the right way and now the game can move on.
North Queensland back Matthew Wright is the only player from the group that will miss out on the NRL finals.
