Herald reporter Heath Moore is spending five weeks in a Maui campervan following the Lions fans. This is his latest report.
A group of hearty Lions fans have embraced the Maori culture and performed a rendition of the haka Ka Mate.
After gathering inspiration from the world record haka in Rotorua's Village Green at lunchtime on Saturday, the group decided to give it their best shot ahead of their side's clash with the Maori All Blacks.
Led by a Rotorua local, the Lions fans were invited into a campervan before letting out a passionate performance.
Lions fan Edward Goodman said it was incredible to be part of it.
"It was unreal!" he told the Herald.
"It gave me goosebumps. It was unexpected but so much fun."
Those watching gave out a loud cheer as Red Army finished their war cry.
Fans are in full voice belting out Irish songs and sinking back a number of beverages before they make their way to the stadium.
Bars are already full as the Red Army sweep Rotorua.
