A uni student left his flatmates baffled and the internet in hysterics with this very odd demand.
Whatsapp user Lois shared a screen grab of his flat's group chat on Twitter, and people were left baffled by one flatmates request to leave the swivel stools at "full height" when exiting the kitchen.
Finn wrote: "Guys I don't mean to sound like I'm nagging but I've noticed that the swivel stools are all at different heights sometimes and I just think if you've used a stool you should return it to its full height before leaving the kitchen!
"I don't want to come in from a long day of lectures to see all the stools are different heights, thanks guys".
Flatmate Ethan then asked: "please, oh please tell me you are joking? ..."
Lois then took to Twitter, asking: "How do I request new flatmates".
The post has since gone viral, with more than 13,000 retweets, 78,000 likes and some truly hilarious replies.
Coumar Maniassley wrote: "If he doesn't come back to upside down stools tomorrow you're doing uni wrong".
Another suggested: "Definitely replace the swivel stools with a variety of random chairs".
However some Twitter users felt the demands were perfectly reasonable and that they too would be annoying by the uneven stools.
Thankfully Fin himself took to Twitter to confirm this was all in fact "a joke".
