From arms and legs to abs and buttocks, weight-lifting can be a great way to keep yourself in shape.
But this fitness guru uses the technique to work out rather more unusual body part, reports the Daily Mail.
Intimacy coach Kim Anami, who splits her time between Bali and Los Angeles, has taught herself how to use only the muscles in her vagina to hoist a remarkable array of objects, from lutes to paintings and buckets to bottles.
She attaches each object to a jade egg, which she inserts into her vagina and holds in place using her pelvic muscles.
She claims the technique strengthens the pelvic floor and increases sexual pleasure, and can be particularly beneficial for new mothers.
Ms Anami, who describes herself as a 'holistic sex and relationship expert, vaginal weightlifter and surfer', started practicing what she calls 'Vaginal Kung Fu' 20 years ago, and has built up a devoted Instagram following with photos of her demonstrating the practice in exotic locations around the world.
One recent photograph shows her standing on a rocky mountainside in Morocco, a ceramic glazed bowl filled with couscous dangling between her legs.
Another marking awards season earlier this year captures Kim on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, lifting a replica Academy Award.
She previously told Daily Mail that her aim is to to encourage women to develop their pelvic muscles to improve their health.
"Much of my work is about breaking down sexual barriers: opening conversations about sex and daring to say the things that deep down (very deep, like cervix deep) people want to hear and say, but generally don't," Ms Anami wrote on her Instagram page.
"There are the emotional walls that we erect to protect ourselves. The choice to fear instead of open...
"Until all of these barriers come down, until we soften and chip away at the hardness, we can't fully feel."
